All change comes from within, that’s what they say. However, before you can make that change, a frame of reference can be helpful: How do I want to change? Why do I feel the need to make this change? Do I have the strength? Will it hurt? Who can help me? Will I need to make sacrifices? Who do I admire? Am I the first to do this? If not, what can I learn from others’ experience?
Even in the internet age, it’s not easy finding the answers to these questions.
Guy Wah struggled in his twenties. Working in offices, kitchens, warehouses and call centres, he struggled to find any purpose or satisfaction in a world he viewed through a monochrome lens. Playing in a band in his spare time, he saw glimpses of a more colourful life but had no idea where to start.
At 30 he started training as an actor and his life changed dramatically (pun intended) and since then his life has been full of colour. He’s now an actor, escape game host, photographer, musician and podcast host – working a portfolio career of only jobs that he loves.
In this series Guy explores life events, conversations and personal discoveries that proved the impetus to get him to where he is now, and encourages guests to reflect on their own moments of discovery.
Talking to guests from a wide range of backgrounds, they all have one thing in common – they feel that their lives have improved drastically, and they want to share their experiences with others.
