Joseph remarks followed a reported decision by five executive members to suspend the president at a meeting on Saturday.
No official statement has been released by the GFA but Joseph, who was re-elected unopposed last May, confirmed that a meeting was held and he was informed about the 'attempted coup'.
Joseph spoke to GrenadaSports on Sunday January 27, 2019 where he discussed the decision as well as his next move.

Education Minister Emmalin Pierre says that the event will be held in March but will be preceded by Zonal Meets.
