SHOW #110: March 10, 2018

Welcome back from Chinese New Year celebrations! I just returned to Honolulu from San Francisco where I attended my fist-ever Chinese New Year/Spring Festival events. I was intrigued and dazzled by the vibrant, colorful and expressive street murals there -and I wanted to know who created them. On Conversations I enjoyed welcoming Michelle Chan of Dragon School based in Oakland, California's Chinatown. Learn more about this exciting non-profit at We featured our Confucius Moment, Treasures of China, the Weekly Almanac and Chinese Fun Facts. Did you know I'm also a State of Hawaii wedding officiant? Come get married and enjoy your honeymoon here, too! We also held our All-Things Chinese Weekly Triva Contest! Mark your calendars for our future shows starting at 10:30 .m. Eastern USA Time on 1490 WGCH and anywhere.
