Lin28B is an oncofetal RNA binding protein that exerts diverse effects in development, metabolism, and cancer via interactions with let-7 microRNAs and other RNA targets. Recent work has demonstrated that Lin28B correlates with worsened outcomes in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), but the functions of Lin28B in PDAC remain to be elucidated. We hypothesized that Lin28B plays an active role in PDAC metastasis and drug resistance.
These lectures are designed to meet the educational needs of physicians and scientists in academic and practice settings who wish to advance their knowledge of the research into new treatments and improve their competence in the care of patients with cancer.
