How to interact with police officers to promote a safe interaction, while knowing your rights and attempting to build trust in one another.This class will help to create awareness on our rights when interacting with police officers. We will discuss different rights to build knowledge and confidence when dealing with law enforcement.The recommended age for my classes is: 10 and up. My name is Brian Tomlin and I have been in law enforcement for 13 years. I started my journey as a police officer in Miami, FL before transferring to my current location in Austin, Tx. As a Black officer with two young daughters, I find it of the upmost importance to spread awareness of our rights especially to our Black and Brown children. I find it to be a critical time to do so, in order to attempt to create a better future for our future generation.
